Pregnancy Symptoms
Are you wondering if you are pregnant? Or, maybe you have taken a home pregnancy test and can’t believe it says positive.
If you have had sex (protected or unprotected), there is always the possibility of pregnancy.
Many women assume they cannot become pregnant if they use contraception. But contraception is not 100% effective, so you should not rule out pregnancy.
Early Pregnancy Symptoms
A late period is usually the first sign of pregnancy, but there are other symptoms. Are you experiencing any of these?
- Nausea with or without vomiting
- Frequent urination
- Spotting or cramping
- Fatigue
- Feeling lightheaded or dizzy
- Food cravings or aversions
- Darkening of the nipples
- Sore, swollen breasts
Your First Step
If you aren’t sure you are pregnant, your first step should be a Center pregnancy test. Only a medical professional can properly diagnose a pregnancy.
Confirm the results of your home pregnancy test or get the answer to that nagging question, “Am I really pregnant?”
You May Not Be Pregnant
There is a slight possibility you got a positive pregnancy test result, but you aren’t pregnant. Between 10% and 20% of all known pregnancies end in miscarriage. The number of miscarriages could be higher because many occur before a woman even realizes she is pregnant.
Your pregnancy test could still be positive because it takes your body time to get rid of pregnancy hormones.
Free And Confidential Pregnancy Testing

Pregnancy tests are only an indication of pregnancy. An ultrasound is necessary to verify a viable pregnancy (a pregnancy that has not miscarried and is not ectopic.).
